 قناع الموت الأحمر نبذة عن المؤلف : ولد الكاتب الأمريكي إدجار آلان بو، في التاسع من يناير 1809م في ولاية بوسطن الأمريكية، وكان من أصل أمريكي، لاقى أدجار آلان بو صعوبات في طفولته، أثرت على شخصيته، وجعلته يتخصص في كتابة قصص الرعب فيما بعد. ‏أحداث الرواية : انتشر وباء الموت الأحمر في أرجاء البلاد، وكان مرضًا مروعًا لا مثيل له، ومن مظاهر هذا الوباء الآلام المبرحة، والدوار المفاجئ، وتدفق الدم على الجلد مع هبوط مستمر يصل إلى درجة الانهيار، فإذا ما انتشرت البقع القرمزية على جسم المريض، فر منه الناس كما يفرون من الأجرب، ويقضي هذا الوباء على الإنسان في خلال نصف ساعة على الأكثر. حين رأى الأمير البروسير أن نصف شعبه قد تم الفضاء عليه بواسطة الوباء، استدعى جميع أصدقائه وخدمه حتى المهرجين والموسيقيين، وربات الحسن والجمال كما اصطحبوا معهم أنواع من المشروبات الفاخرة، وكل شيء يجعلهم يعيشوا برفاهية داخل القلعة. واتجهوا جميعًا إلى أحد الأديرة والذي يشبه في تكوينه الحصون، وقد جعل حوله حصارا شديدا، وكان هذا الدير من تصميم الأمير نفسه بأسوار عالية حصينة، وحين دخل الأمير وحاشيته، وضعوا المتاريس الحدي...

  السعادة السعادة هي الشعور بالبهجة والاستمتاع بالوقت نفسه، بالإضافة إلى أنها الحالة التي من خلالها يحكم الإنسان على حياته، بأنها حياة مليئة بالاستقرار والراحة، وبعيدة كل البعد عن المصاعب والأوجاع وضغوطات الحياة المختلفة، مما يدفعه للشعور بالأمل والحياة الأفضل في جميع الأوقات، وبالتالي الرغبة الشديدة بالتمسك بالحياة لأطول فترة ممكنة. الدراسات المتعلقة بالسعادة تمّ إجراء العديد من الدراسات أهمها الدراسة التي أجريت في الولايات المتحدة، فيما يتعلق بأكثر الدول تحقيق للسعادة، وذلك من خلال إجرائها على عدد وصل لثمانين ألف شخص من كافة أنحاء العالم، وأظهرت النتائج بأنّ الدنمارك أكثر الدول تحقيقاً للسعادة، ومن ثم دولة سويسرا، والنمسا، وحصل جمهورية مصر العربية على المرتبة 151، وحصلت كل من زيمبابوي، وبوروندي على أقل الدول تحقيق للسعادة. بالإضافة إلى الدراسة التي أجريت من قبل صحيفة ذي بريتيش ميديكال جورنال، والتي تحدثت عن أن السعادة ظاهرة تنتقل عن طريق العدوى، القادمة من الأصدقاء أو من أفراد العائلة، إلا أنها لا تنتقل عن طريق زملاء العمل، ودراسة أخرى أجريت في الولايات المتحدة، ما بين العامين...
